Sheffield United have been named as one of the Premier League clubs who are keen on signing Bristol City’s midfielder, Alex Scott.
Scott has emerged as one of the stars of the Championship this season. He is attracting a host of interest from other top clubs, with Liverpool known to be tracking him ahead of the summer.
A host of other sides are also wanting to sign Scott, and according to 90Min, Sheffield United are in the mix with Tottenham, Liverpool, Leeds and more to make a move for the young midfielder.
90Min states that there is expected to be a scramble to sign Scott, who Bristol City value at close to £30m.

The Blades are going to need some new players come the summer and who they sign will depend on ownership and budgets.
Prince Abdullah is wanting to sell the club but a takeover from Dozy Mmobuosi has hit the buffers. That might change, however, with reports on Friday suggesting it might be back on.
For Sheffield United, the likes of Alex Scott are ideal signings. The problem comes in the fact he’s going to cost so much money and so many big clubs want him, that we are likely to not get a sniff.
Scott has been praised by Pep Guardiola. That in itself says it all. The Bristol man, then, is unlikely to end up in S2.

Sadly, it’s almost impossible for us to sign Scott unless we get some investment. Even then, the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham are likely to be his landing spot.
