Sheffield United’s academy has a rich history of developing future first-team players from the club’s Under-21 squad throughout the years. So, who are the Blades’ current group of talented prospects?
First-team manager Paul Heckingbottom can unleash academy products including Iliman Ndiaye and a Sheffield United legend in Billy Sharp. While fellow Blades icon Phil Jagielka also came through the youth side to make it to Bramall Lane. They also helped shape Harry Maguire and Kyle Naughton.
Sheffield United’s latest group of academy players represent the Blades’ U21 team in the Professional Development League North under Michael Collins. The club also play their home games at York City’s LNER Community Stadium. While Bramall Lane hosts a handful of Sheffield United’s academy games.
