Sheffield United striker Cameron Archer has been praised by a former coach as he continues to find his feet at Bramall Lane.
Archer was signed in the summer in a deal worth around £18m. The move was put together between United and Aston Villa and is effectively a loan move, with Archer due to return to Villa if United go down.
The striker has done well enough so far, feeding off scraps. His stunning goal against Wolves showed what he is all about, following up his impressive debut goal and assist v Everton.
And speaking about Archer, his former coach at Solihull Moors, James Quinn, has admitted that the young striker always had something about him.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, former Sheffield Wednesday striker Quinn looked back fondly on Archer’s time on loan with Solihull.
“He came in and straightaway I was taken aback by his technical quality. A fantastic finisher with both feet. One of the best I’ve seen,” Quinn said.
“Emotionally, Cameron was very stable. If he missed a chance it didn’t bother him and if he scored, he didn’t get too high either. He’d go looking for the next one. He impressed massively from the first day he walked in. He was also such a humble, polite and quiet kid, who was a real pleasure to coach.”
Paul Heckingbottom has spoken of his happiness with Archer recently as well. Despite only notching twice, the young forward is very much trying to live off half-chances, while a partnership with Oli McBurnie has stumbled due to the United number nine being injured.
McBurnie, though, is hoping to be back in action this weekend when United take on Bournemouth.
It’s a must-win game for the Blades in front of the Bramall Lane crowd. A win will put them firmly in the mix in terms of battling against relegation, a position that’s been strengthened by Everton’s points deduction.
Archer, then, could well be key once again for the Blades.
