There is a lot of excitement around Sheffield United when it comes to the young talent emerging at the club, with Sydie Peck among a cluster of names making an impression.
Peck has been training with the first-team at times this season and while others have made the bench ahead of him come matchday, the former Arsenal youngster is highly-rated at Bramall Lane and Shirecliffe. Indeed, Peck has already showcased his talents more than once this term at under-23 level.
Earlier this year he scored a stunning effort from just inside the halfway line. It was an eye-catching moment and it followed on from another fine free-kick just before Christmas that caught attention. And Peck, playing for the under-23s once again against Wigan yesterday, has been at it again.
Sydie Peck Scores Another Stunner For Sheffield United Under-23s
It’s always a good habit to have as a young player if you can start becoming known for certain things. And Peck seems to be making a name for himself as a bit of a free-kick specialist at United.

The 17-year-old scored another lovely set-piece effort yesterday, as showcased by the Sheffield United Academy Twitter account.
As you can see, Peck simply keeps his calm and floats the ball over the wall to effortlessly beat the Wigan goalkeeper.
The goal was also the winner for the under-23s, who came from behind to win 2-1. Will Osula, who got his debut for United in midweek at Blackpool, was also on the scoresheet with a fine effort.
For Sydie Peck, it’s a case of being patient. 17 is no age in the game but the fact he’s been around the first-team shows how the club views him. His time will come soon enough, and United fans can look forward to some of this free-kick magic in future years.
