Sheffield United are back in action tonight as Premier League Tottenham come to Bramall Lane looking to continue their good form.
Both sides head into the game off the back of weekend wins and clean-sheets. United saw off Watford in a crucial promotion test. Tottenham, meanwhile, handed Chelsea another defeat as they swept them aside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
For the Blades, it’s a huge test. Paul Heckingbottom is under no illusions as to the quality Spurs bring, highlighting Harry Kane as a standout performer.

However, Spurs know they’re in for a tough night as well. And interim manager Cristian Stellini admitted that the hostile Bramall Lane atmosphere will make it a hard night for his team.
“It’s important to bring the energy we used on the pitch in the last two matches at home now that we are away in another stadium,” Stellini said in his presser.

“We know very well that at Sheffield United it will not be easy because the atmosphere in the stadium is tough, but we want to perform well.”
Stellini is expected to name a strong Tottenham side for the clash. The Blades, meanwhile, could make changes after a bout of illness and fixture congestion.
Sheffield United News View: Tottenham will be coming all guns blazing
Spurs need to win a trophy. It’s that simple. They have been starved off success for so long and with so many Premier League sides out of the FA Cup, there’s never been a better opportunity for them.
Stellini will be wary of United’s threat but he knows his side have enough quality to win. He’ll be selecting a strong team and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the likes of Kane, Son and Richarlison all starting.
It’s a true test for Sheffield United, this. If Heckingbottom does go with some younger players, then it makes it all the more difficult as well.
Regardless, Stellini is right and the atmosphere at The Lane should be a good one. Under the lights, you just never know, and Blades fans will fancy a result tonight.
