Sheffield United are looking into the possibility of bringing in Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo, according to reports.

Diallo enjoyed a quite superb season with Sunderland last season and Man United could be ready to let him go out on loan again, this time, to the Premier League.

According to Football Insider, a host of clubs are keen on Diallo. The Blades are mentioned as holding an interest, while Burnley and Southampton are also making their case.

Diallo was lauded as an ‘amazing‘ talent by Rob Edwards last season after some impressive displays in the playoffs.

But with chances at Old Trafford likely to be at a premium, Diallo could look for another switch.

Amad Diallo plays more of a wide position naturally but that doesn’t mean the Blades can’t use him in the starting line up.

We saw last season how Paul Heckingbottom used James McAtee to good effect playing off the forwards or to the left, and Diallo could do the same.

Indeed, the idea of him linking up with another tricky player in Iliman Ndiaye is a mouth-watering prospect for United fans.

The one issue with this signing would be the fact United are unlikely to have much of the ball in a lot of games next season. That would mean Diallo needing to hone in on and work on the defensive aspects of his game.

But as an impact player in the final third, the Manchester United youngster has the lot. With that in mind, he’d be a more than decent signing for the Blades this summer.
