Sheffield United made to the 20 point mark with a 1-0 win at Everton tonight, as Daniel Jebbison netted on his full debut at Goodison Park.
It was the dream debut start for Jebbison, who got a chance he’d have been thinking about all day when Jack Robinson fired across goal to leave him with the simplest of tap ins.
Jebbison was brilliant throughout. However, despite the youngster taking plenty of plaudits and rightfully so, it was David McGoldrick who once again shone for the Blades.
So often a beacon of light this season for United, McGoldrick simply oozed class as he roamed off Jebbison. He dropped deep, he created chances, and he defended brilliantly near the end to see the game out.
Sure enough, Twitter was awash with comments from Sheffield United fans who had nothing but praise for the former Ipswich star.
