Sheffield United are indeed interested in signing Conor Coady from Wolves and the defender would be open to the move.
That’s according to Football Insider, who today report that their sources have indicated Coady would welcome a return to Bramall Lane.
Coady is back at Wolves after Everton chose not to sign him. United are looking for a new central defender and the experienced England man could tick the boxes for Paul Heckingbottom.

Conor Coady open to Sheffield United return
Coady has been linked with a move back to Bramall Lane in recent weeks. The Liverpool-born defender is set to be out of favour at Wolves and will be looking for a new club.
United are one of the clubs said to be interested, with Coady speaking fondly of his time with the Blades previously.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Interest from the Blades in Coady comes as reports suggest Paul Heckingbottom is pushing hard for new signings.
The Blades gaffer is said to be ramping up the pressure and certain targets have already been spoken to.
Whether or not Coady is one of those, remains to be seen.
Football Insider reports Coady is willing to listen to what United have to say and could well be swayed by the idea of a return to The Lane.
Sheff Utd News View: More than just a rumour
In a summer where there’s going to be a whole host of players linked with the club, this one with Conor Coady does seem to have some substance.
There’s too many different links surfacing to suggest this is just ‘paper talk’. Somewhere down the line, there has to have been some sort of comms about Coady and the Blades.
Of course, he’s an ideal signing if the wages aren’t too big and the fee isn’t a big one either. United need a defender and a character like Coady would be more than welcome.
Lauded as a ‘leader‘ by Alan Shearer, Coady ticks more than one box for the Blades.
