Sheffield United are likely to be in the mix to sign Conor Coady this summer, amid claims the Blades are one of the interest parties.
Reports in the media in recent weeks have suggested Coady is a player Paul Heckingbottom is looking to sign.
Coady is back at Wolves after Everton failed to take up an option to buy him. But the Molineux outfit are expected to move the defender on, with a number of clubs waiting to take him.

Sheffield United likely to offer contract to Conor Coady
According to GiveMeSport journalist Dean Jones, Coady is going to have a number of options on the table this summer.
And according to Jones, the Blades are likely to be one of the clubs who offer him a contract.
“I was a little bit surprised, but Coady is going to have other options open to him. Sheffield United, I think, is one that will probably be on the table for him if he becomes available,” Jones said.
“So yeah, he’s going to have opportunities. We’ll have to wait and see what talks he has over the summer with his current club. I don’t think he’s too concerned about it because he knows what he brings to the team in terms of experience and confidence too.
“There will certainly be a couple of clubs that are keen to take him.”
Coady is reportedly on more than £60k-a-week at Wolves. United won’t be offering that sort of money, even if he comes without a transfer fee.
Sheff U News View: Coady worth putting the effort in for
While we are working on a tight budget after promotion, signing Conor Coady could well end up being a bit of a priority for us.
His experience and leadership will be a big selling point to Heckingbottom and his coaching staff. And while the wages are massive, they might end up being worth it on a shorter-term deal.
Of course, Coady will have other suitors. Nottingham Forest and others are looking and if they do put up the money, then United could end up being blown out of the water.
However, Coady is worth having a good go for. He’s just what this Blades side needs and coupled with some other signings, could be crucial.
