Sheffield United have been rocked by the news that defender Jayden Bogle will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Manager Paul Heckingbottom confirmed the news in this afternoon’s press conference. The Blades star will require cartilage on a knee injury which could see him miss up to six months with rehab. It is, of course, a huge blow for the former Derby man, who was flying in a red and white shirt.
But rather than be deterred, Bogle has taken to Twitter to sum up his own feelings on the matter. And like so many of this Sheffield United squad, he seems to have the determined attitude needed to overcome such a setback.

Bogle has been one of the standout players for United this season. Even under Slavisa Jokanovic, he was one of the players showing potential. And since Paul Heckingbottom took over, he has shone even more.
The full-back has three goals to his name and will be hoping that the injury causes him nothing but short-term pain.
Signed by Chris Wilder at the same time as Max Lowe, Bogle is approaching the 50 appearances mark for United. At 21, he has time to come back and will be hoping to build on those appearances into next season.
