Sheffield United have been handed yet another major injury blow with manager Paul Heckingbottom confirming that Jayden Bogle will miss around six months through injury.

Bogle has sat out the last two fixtures with what appeared to be a minor problem at first. However, Heckingbottom said at the weekend he would know more about Bogle’s injury this week and he’s now confirmed the worst news possible for the Blades.
Speaking in his press conference prior to playing Blackburn Rovers this week, Heckingbottom has confirmed that Bogle will have surgery and miss around six months through injury. Bogle will follow both Rhian Brewster and David McGoldrick onto the treatment table and in missing the rest of the season.
Bogle had been in outstanding form for United this season. Since being injured, George Baldock has stepped into the fold and scored a goal of the season contender this weekend.

Our View: Jayden Bogle Injury Enormous For Sheffield United
With things going so well, these injuries seem to be doing their best to knock the momentum out of us.
In Bogle, McGoldrick, and Brewster, we are now missing three players who would have 100% played a big role between now and the end of the season.
For Bogle personally, it’s a huge blow. The former Derby man was playing out of his skin and we’ll be lucky to see him now for the start of next season. Of course, the main thing is he gets back and we don’t have another Jack O’Connell situation on our hands.
We wish Bogle all the best, and simply hope he can come back as good as he has been this season.
