Sheffield United could get a timely boost for the clash with Watford, with defender George Baldock in contention to return.
Baldock has missed the last six games with a hamstring injury. His absence has coincided with a poor run of form for United compared to their usual standards. Two defeats and a draw have come in those six games, with Jayden Bogle deputising at right wing-back.
However, according to Yorkshire Live, Baldock was due back in full training today and could be in contention to be part of the squad to face Watford.
Baldock is unlikely to be given the chance to start. Paul Heckingbottom has made no secret of his desire not to rush players back and Baldock is unlikely to be risked.

However, he could be on the bench as an option. Baldock has played both right and left side for United and represents a solid defensive option off the bench.
United are also expected to welcome Billy Sharp back from injury. In further good news, Iliman Ndiaye is also fully fit after being a doubt last weekend to face Millwall and then getting kicked in the game after coming on.
Sheffield United News View: Baldock remains key for the Blades
There’s been a bit of disappointment lately around Jayden Bogle’s performances. So Baldock coming back now is perfect timing really.
On one hand, it might give Bogle a bit of a kick up the rear to up his game and keep his place. Beyond that, Baldock is a reliable option for Heckingbottom to go to. And with a busy fixture schedule and big games coming up, Baldock is very much in the been there and done it camp.
It’s vital United get players back for the run-in. A win this weekend puts the Blades back on track.
Having Baldock fit and available is another bonus and one Heckingbottom will be delighted about.
