Sheffield United have been handed a major boost ahead of the clash with Blackpool, with Anel Ahmedhodzic set to be fit to start.
According to Sky Sports, Ahmedhodzic is set to return this weekend after missing all of the fixtures in October so far.
The Bosnian defender has been a revelation since signing in the summer. He has yet to lose a game in red and white and his return this weekend against Blackpool will be a welcome boost for Paul Heckingbottom. The United boss has seen his side falter in the last week, losing two of their three games and seeing a number of other players go down injured.

The report from Sky builds on claims earlier in the week that suggested Ahmedhodzic, John Fleck, and Jack Robinson were all nearing returns as well.
Ahmedhodzic has recovered quicker than some first feared. The Bosnian FA initially put out an announcement to suggest the defender would miss a full month of action. However, Paul Heckingbottom quickly rebuffed that report, admitting Ahmedhodzic hadn’t even travelled with the international squad.

His return to the defence this weekend will allow the Blades boss to revert to his favoured 3-5-2 formation after going with four at the back in the defeat at Stoke.
Sheff U News View: Ahmedhodzic Return Massive For United
The stats speak for themselves when it comes to Anel Ahmedhodzic. He’s started eight games, United have won seven, and drawn the other.
He is so important to this Sheffield United side so early in his Blades career. Not only will his return be a boost in terms of numbers but his quality is also there for all to see. It instantly means Blackpool need to work harder to score goals and that in itself should allow United to get on the front foot.
