Sheffield United made it two clean-sheets on the bounce with a 1-0 win over Reading this evening. But the game was overshadowed by what looked like a horrifying moment for John Fleck.
Fleck went down in the middle of the second half from nowhere and could be seen visibly shaking on the ground. Blades and Reading players urgently ushered medical staff onto the field, who thankfully appeared to bring Fleck round.
It was a scary moment for the Scot and United fans and teammates. However, Fleck did seem to leave the field in a better condition and Sky reported he had left in an ambulance fully conscious.
And in a heartfelt moment on the pitch, some Sheffield United fans noticed that a certain Billy Sharp was one of those to help stretcher Fleck off. Sharp, who was a sub at the time, had made his way over to his pal and teammate to ensure he was ok.

Here’s a look at what some Blades fans said about Billy Sharp’s actions in regards to John Fleck this evening.
