Sheffield United fans got their first proper glimpse of Mo Besic yesterday and it’s safe to say he didn’t disappoint.

Besic has been used sparingly by Chris Wilder this season. His minutes have largely been limited to cup competitions, although he did come on for the last ten minutes at West Ham.
However, Besic got the nod today for a good half an hour. With Oliver Norwood having to tread lightly on a yellow card, Chris Wilder opted to chuck Besic into the action at Norwich.
Repaying Chris Wilder’s faith
It proved an inspired move from the Blades boss. The Bosnian midfielder was everywhere. He busied around in the centre of the park and put some crunching tackles in as Norwich chased an equaliser.

Besic had shown previously at Everton what he was all about. He’s also a full international and a regular for Bosnia, so he knows how to play. But for Sheffield United fans, this was a first proper look at Mo Besic.
United fans historically love a player who puts himself about and works hard. Besic is exactly that, but combines it with class on the ball, too.
Twitter is, of course, the place where a lot of fans nowadays vent their opinions. This week, then, sees Besic be the recipient of a host of complimentary tweets.
It’s safe to say that plenty of Blades fans have quickly fallen in love with their on-loan midfield star.

Other fans were quick to point out how much he loves getting stuck in. Something Blades fans will love if he continues in the same vein for the rest of the season.
