Huddersfield Town will be playing in the Championship next season, so are there any of their players Sheffield United should consider?
The Blades will effectively be swapping places with Huddersfield next term after confirming their promotion to the Premier League.
Manager Chris Wilder will already be looking at areas where he can strengthen his squad. And signing players from the Terriers who have not only been there and done it, but may want to remain in the top flight, could be a good option.
Here are three possibilities.
Promising youngster – Philip Billing
In what has been a tricky season for Huddersfield, the form of Billing is one of the few positives. Over the past two seasons he has really grown into a talented midfielder.
Also, at 22-years-old there is plenty of scope for Billing to improve and become a valuable asset. The problem might be that bigger clubs could well be sniffing about as well.

However, the Blades may be able to offer more consistent game time.
Experienced head – Christopher Schindler
The man who scored the winning penalty for the Terriers to send them to the Premier League via the playoffs has been a loyal servant for three years.
With 123 games for the club under his belt during that time, Schindler is certainly a consistent performer. And while their defensive record during that time hasn’t been outstanding, the 29-year-old can always committed and trustworthy.
Whether Schindler could fit into Wilder’s expansive 3-4-1-2 system is unknown, but for his experience alone the German would be a worthy asset.
Long shot – Aaron Mooy
Let’s be honest, Mooy is too good for Huddersfield. In truth, he is probably too good for the Blades. The Australian is a top ten player, who has spent the past three years being the outstanding performer at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The Northern Echo reports that Newcastle United are among Mooy’s admirers, but if the Blades could land the 28-year-old it would be a massive coup.
