It appears West Ham are still fretting over the fitness of star striker, Michail Antonio, ahead of tonight’s Sheffield United clash.
The former Sheffield Wednesday man has been a doubt after coming off at Old Trafford last week. However, David Moyes had been optimistic about his return, admitting this week he hoped Antonio would be close.
However, there is no concrete news as yet on Antonio and respected West Ham Twitter account, Ex-WeHUemployee, has claimed that the striker faces a late fitness test ahead of the tie with United this evening.

It means West Ham fans will continue to sweat over the availablity of Antonio, who has been integral to the Hammers cause this season.
Alongside the likes of Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice, Antonio has cemented himself as being a vital player for David Moyes’ Hammers. Him being missing this evening would leave West Ham with no recognised striker, after the club decided to sell Sebastien Haller in January.
Michail Antonio fitness a worry for West Ham, but a boost for Sheffield United
Sheffield United fans will be hoping Antonio isn’t fit. There’s no two ways about it, West Ham are not as good a side when he is missing.
His pace, power, and goal threat means the Blades defence is likely in for a very busy night if he does get the nod.
While we don’t wish him injured, it would be a welcome sight to see the teamsheet not include the West Ham star this evening.
