Sheffield United look like they are going to miss out on the signing of Ugurcan Cakir, with the Turkish goalkeeper reportedly opting for a move to Sevilla instead.

Cakir has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including the Blades. The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham are both said to be keen, too.
However, according to the Turkish media outlet, Sporx, Cakir has made his mind up over a move to Spain with the Seville club.
For the Blades and boss Chris Wilder, it will mean a potential Dean Henderson replacement slipping through their fingers. Wilder, though, will hold out hope that Henderson may well return for a third spell next term.

For Cakir, it looks like he will complete a big move to La Liga. After some fine performances for Trabzonspor this season, it is little surprise to see the stopper getting his big move.
Cakir was always a tough ask, United will move on
Signing Cakir was never going to be easy for the Blades. He looks a top-quality stopper and with the likes of Liverpool and Spurs looking as well, it was always going to be tricky.
Chris Wilder won’t worry too much, either. Indeed, the Blades boss hasn’t even confirmed (as is the norm with Wilder) that the club is keen on Cakir.
Hopefully for United, Dean Henderson will find his way back to Bramall Lane for a third spell in red and white.
That is, of course, the situation that all Blades fans want to see pan out over the coming months.
