It’s a second home game in the space of four days for Slavisa Jokanovic’s Sheffield United this evening, as Millwall become the latest side to visit Bramall Lane.
United fought back admirably to see off a good Stoke City side at the weekend and Jokanovic will be hoping for more of the same tonight, albeit without the fightback needed!
Decisions
The Blades boss once again faces a number of selection dilemmas. With games coming thick and fast, natural rotation could be needed. But beyond that, the players who came on against Stoke all made a case for a start.
Lys Mousset scored, Conor Hourihane slotted in nicely, and David McGoldrick had a huge impact on the game. Indeed, McGoldrick will be the one of those three who will be disappointed not to play tonight.
SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Millwall are the Championship’s draw specialists having drawn six of their twelve games this term. Last time out, they struggled at Luton and were comfortably dispatched by The Hatters.
In all likelihood, Gary Rowett will set his side up to take a point and if they can, nick something from a set-piece or moment of magic like Birmingham City did on the opening day of the season.
United, then, could well go with more in attack. That could see McGoldrick come back in, while Oli McBurnie might also hope to get the nod ahead of the effervescent Billy Sharp.
