Sheffield United could have a couple of representatives at this years Euros and Oli McBurnie could end up being one of them.
The Blades striker has once again had a trouble season with niggling injuries curtailing his progress at times.
However, he had an excellent campaign last term, hitting double figures and being a key player for United as they won promotion back to the Premier League.
And according to Alan Nixon, via his Patreon, Scotland are now looking at recalling McBurnie to lead the line for them in the summer.
It’s claimed that a lack of striking options has seen Steve Clarke send his scouts to keep tabs on McBurnie this season and there is a chance he gets a recall to the latest squad this month.

McBurnie last played for Scotland around three years ago and missed out on the last major tournament, coincidentally, with an injury.
Ivo Grbic is another Blade who could feature in Germany, although the likes of George Baldock won’t be there after Greece failed to qualify.
Reward for McBurnie
Ok, so this season hasn’t been amazing by any stretch and once again, injuries have held him back.
But over the course of the last 18 months or so, Oli McBurnie has been one of the better players in red and white and deserves a chance back with Scotland.
McBurnie’s form last season was exceptional at times and there’s no doubt United have missed him this season as a regular presence up top.
If he does get this recall, then it’s a good reward for a player who has turned things around really in his career at United.
Hopefully, he signs a new contract and United fans can look forward to seeing him in action in the summer.
