Sheffield United reveal new away kit and supporters love it

Sheffield United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2021/22 season and fans have been giving their reaction on social media.

The strip, which sees United go back to black for their return to the Championship, has gone down well among the supporters it seems.

As modelled by the players on the Sheffield United website, the away kit features a faded grey sash across the front. Indeed, it is a nod to a previous away strip from the 90s, when United had a blue/purple number with green sash.

Blades fans eagerly wait the announcement of a new kit every summer. The decision to stick with Adidas has gone down well, while the new sponsor, Randox, doesn’t dominate the shirt either.

It’s safe to say, then, that supporters are pretty happy with the new Sheffield United away kit.
