Sheffield United limped to another Premier League defeat in London this afternoon as Crystal Palace easily saw the Blades off.
Jeff Schlupp’s early goal more or less killed the game within minutes before a solo goal from Ebere Eze made it 2-0 and a mountain to climb for Chris Wilder’s men.

Being frank, it was another woeful performance and, arguably, the worst of the season from the Blades.
We don’t like to be critical on here of the Blades players. They have given so much in the last few years. But today was one of the worst.
Here are our player ratings as we give out a first ever 2/10 and not many better for what was a dismal day in the cold for United and Wilder.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Aaron Ramsdale – 5
Couldn’t do much with either goal in fairness. Dropped a cross in the second half but handled some other tame efforts well enough.
Jayden Bogle – 6
Probably United’s brightest spark in the game. Worked hard to try and take his chance after being put in ahead of George Baldock.

Ethan Ampadu – 3
Dreadful challenge on Eze was one of a player who either lost his bottle, or doesn’t really want to be here. Either way, a bad performance from Ampadu.
John Egan – 5
Clearly cares and is being left short at the back by those beside him in all honesty.
Enda Stevens – 4
What has happened to Enda Stevens? He looks shot, short of any confidence, and looks like he never wants the ball. Another poor effort.
Ben Osborn – 4
Worked hard again but sadly lacks the quality required at this level to feature on a regular basis.
John Fleck – 2
What can you say? Woeful from Fleck and at times, embarrassing. Never once looked to play forward and seems to be sauntering through games.
Oli Norwood – 5
Switched the play well in spells but looks leggy, as showed by Eze simply jogging past him for the second goal.

Chris Basham – 4
An off day for Bash but nobody can say he doesn’t care about the club. Just a poor day at the office for him.
Lys Mousset – 4
Put dashes of work in but looks short of fitness and like everyone else, lacking in any sort of confidence.
David McGoldrick – 6
Like Bogle, was one of few United players to offer any sort of threat. Continues to probe away and will be as frustrated as anyone.
