Sheffield United have reportedly made a late bid to sign Leicester City defender Harry Souttar before the deadline tomorrow.
The Blades are desperate to bring in a new central defender and have been linked with a host of names throughout the window.
The likes of Joe Worrall, Mason Holgate and Ben Godfrey have all been mentioned but so far, no deal has got over the line.
Chris Wilder is keen to make sure he brings in at least one new face before tomorrow and according to Football Insider, that new face could be Souttar.

The Australian international is currently playing for Australia in the ASIA Cup. His side face South Korea on Friday in the quarter-finals though meaning he’d not be available for immediate selection.
Leicester paid a whopping £15m, rising to £20m to sign Souttar from Stoke City but he has barely featured under Enzo Maresca this season.
Remarkably, he has scored ten goals in just over 10 appearances at international level.
Blades getting desperate
It’s clear that Sheffield United are pushing for a new defender here but there is a tint of desperation about things once again.
We did well in getting Ben Brereton-Diaz signed early on and have done ok to bring in Ivo Grbic as well.
But yet again, as the owner seems to like it, we’ve gone right until the final day of the window to even get closer to getting a defender. Now, we are left scrambling around and looking at someone like Souttar – who isn’t even in the country – to make the difference.
Wilder obviously wants a new centre-back and feels he will get one. However, Souttar isn’t going to be available until next week at the very earliest so this makes little sense.
