Sheffield United are trying to move on quickly from the sale of Iliman Ndiaye to Marseille and are looking to sign Arsenal defender, Auston Trusty.
The Blades were rocked yesterday as news of Ndiaye’s exit broke. United have reluctantly agreed to sell Ndiaye for around £20m, even though they thought he had him tied to a new deal while over in Portugal.

However, clubs have to keep moving forward and according to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath, United are in talks to sign Arsenal defender Trusty.
Taking to Twitter, McGrath has confirmed that a season-long loan deal is a possibility for United as they look to strengthen the defensive ranks.
Lauded as being a ‘terrific‘ player during a loan spell with Birmingham City last season, Trusty has actually been away with the Gunners this pre-season.
However, Arsenal are apparently prepared to let Trusty go, either on a permanent or loan deal.
United only get two Premier League loans this season after being promoted. Using a loan on a defender would, in some fans’ minds, seem a bit of a waste.
Sheffield United News View: Trusty can be a top player if given chance
Auston Trusty has been around Arsenal for some time now but really, he’s never going to break in and play.
However, Trusty is still a USA international and clearly has a bit about him. He did well with Birmingham City last season and there’s good reason to believe he’d succeed with United.
Realistically, the Blades could do with getting this one done permanently. That frees the two loans up to use in more attacking positions, just like last season.
