Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, has said that he hopes to bring in some new signings after the weekend.
The Blades boss has already moved to bring in Jack Robinson and Jack Rodwell this January. But speaking after the win at Millwall yesterday, Wilder admitted he is hopeful of one or two more next week.

A number of names have been mentioned in the last few weeks. Wilder, then, confirmed that the club have been working hard to bring in some new faces and hopes to see some positive news early next week.
“We have been working extremely hard over the past couple of days with meetings and we are moving forward on a couple of things. In terms of the backing I have had from the board, it has been terrific,” Wilder said. (Yorkshire Post)

“Timely introductions and additions into this window will no doubt lift the group to another level. Hopefully, we will get some business done on Monday or Tuesday.”
The Blades boss has made no secret of his desire to bring new bodies in during January. After guiding the club to a comfortable top half position in the Premier League, Wilder is keen to see the club progress further.
Is Josh Brownhill on his way to Bramall Lane?
Bristol City midfielder Brownhill has been heavily linked with a move to the Blades in the last week or so. With Tyrese Campbell signing a new deal with Stoke, Brownhill would seem the most obvious signing of the names being linked.

He’s within the Blades’ price range and plays central midfielder. That area of the pitch is one where many fans feel some added depth would be useful.
However, Wilder is being tight-lipped on names, as is usual for him. It might well be that Wilder pulls a rabbit out of the hat, so to speak, and brings someone into the club completely out of the blue.
Blades fans, then, will be awaiting Monday and Tuesday in eager anticipation.
