Sheffield United have been handed a boost ahead of the clash with Middlesbrough as George Baldock has been pictured out on the grass in full training.
The Blades defender missed out against Nottingham Forest as Femi Seriki was handed a debut at right wing-back. On the night, Seriki did ok, but did look to be a bit shell-shocked by the pace of the game. But given it was against a top team like Forest, he will get more chances down the line.
With Middlesbrough and Chris Wilder due at The Lane tomorrow, Paul Heckingbottom has been hoping for some good news on the injury front and he seems to have got it. Pictured among the training pictures released by United earlier today, Baldock is in their taking part.

Baldock’s presence – which was also confirmed by Heckingbottom in his presser a bit later – is a big boost for the Blades. A game against a promotion rival will require the very best and experienced players United have available.
As Chris Wilder knows all too well, George Baldock is certainly one of those.
Our View: Baldock Return Massive For Sheffield United
While Seriki did well enough, he isn’t quite up to it just yet and having an experienced campaigner like Baldock back in the camp is a big boost.
Sure, we’d all like to see Jayden Bogle as well. But with Bogle out for the season, Baldock is the next best we have and he’ll surely be determined to prove a point against his old manager. Baldock did so well for Wilder, and was one of the ex-Blades bosses trusted troops.
Baldock’s return helps the Blades. His experience, ability to defend one on one, and speed is a huge bonus and Heckingbottom will be delighted to see him back.
