Sheffield United fans have been taking the opportunity to have a dig at Arsenal fans this afternoon, after Aaron Ramsdale once again put in a superb performance for the Gunners.
Ramsdale signed for the Gunners in the summer for £30m. At the time, Arsenal fans were up in arms about their club paying what many thought was a huge fee for an unproven goalkeeper. Of course, those fans are being proven wrong right now. In fact, it’s not the first time either.
As well as the stunning save from Ramsdale from Maddison today, the former Blade pulled off a number of other fine stops too. He has clearly improved from being with England, and has taken that to Arsenal.
For Sheffield United fans, it was a chance yet again for them to have their say and send their messages to Arsenal supporters when it came to Aaron Ramsdale.

It seems that Blades fans on Twitter were delighted. And while most would admit at not being too fussed Ramsdale was sold for big money, the fact Arsenal fans doubted him so much is amusing to the United fanbase.
Here, then, is what some Blades had to say on Twitter today after Aaron Ramsdale pulled off yet another wonder save.
Just wanted to say arsenal fans, how dare you have ever doubted Aaron Ramsdale. #sufc #AFC @Arsenal

Absolutely brilliant today Ramsdale. Do #Arsenal fans still think he was an overpriced waste of money? Perhaps us #sufc fans were right after all….. #twitterblades
