Sheffield United are close to signing another player and strengthening the goalkeeping department with the signing of Ivo Grbic.
With Wes Foderingham making a number of mistakes and out of contract in the summer, Chris Wilder has been keen to see if he can add to his goalkeeper depth.
And it looks like Wilder might have got his man with the signing of giant Croatian stopper Grbic.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s Luca Bendoni, the Blades are close to signing Grbic in a deal that could be worth around £2.5m.
Sheffield United move to sign Ivo Grbic
United have made their move to sign Grbic given his current contract status at Atletico Madrid.
He is into the final six months of his deal and the Blades have apparently taken advantage of that by making a move to land the Croatian on a permanent deal.

Grbic made 12 La Liga appearances for Atletico last season and has been capped twice by his country.
However, he was always going to find it hard to be number one in Spain and will surely now welcome the move to Bramall Lane.
For United, it’s a smart signing that adds quality and presence in the goalkeeping department.
Listed at a whopping 6ft 4″ on Transfermarkt, Grbic will certainly be a towering figure in the sticks should he dislodge Wes Foderingham.
