Sheffield United Chairman appears to fully back Chris Wilder again on Twitter

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has seemingly been backed once again by Blades Chairman, Musaad Bin Khalid Al Saud.

Blades fans wanting Wilder out are, thankfully, in a very small minority at the moment. However, there’s no denying some pressure is on the Blades boss given the team’s start to the season.

But in a realistic world, United aren’t going to get anyone better and should the club go down, most would believe Wilder is the man to continue the superb job he has done since arriving in 2016.

And Wilder, it seems, has been backed on Twitter by the Chairman, with the Blades chief retweeting and commenting on a ‘United’ club post last night.

It’s clear that the social media team are trying to keep a positive mood around the place. Messages like this, especially when picked up by the man at the top, can only help Wilder and his players.

Instagram also gets the same treatment

The same message was also posted on Instagram. Of course, the social media platform is where a lot of United players are in terms of fan interaction.

And those players, including John Egan, John Lundstram, Jack Robinson, and Aaron Ramsdale, all posted on the message to show they’re behind both Wilder, and the club.

At a time when things are tough, it does seem United and its players are trying to get behind each other and be together.

And that could be so important. If ever there was a time for these players to show what they’re made of, it’s now.
