Sheffield United could be selling Sander Berge before the transfer window closes, with Fulham in talks over a deal worth £20m and add ons.
Paul Heckingbottom has wanted to keep all his players during the window but there was always likely to be bids for some stars before the window shuts. And it seems Berge could now be on his way to Fulham.
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has tweeted to say Fulham are in talks with the Blades over a deal worth over £20m to United.

It means United would essentially recoup the £22m fee they paid for Berge in the first place.
The Norwegian midfielder has had an up and down time of things in Sheffield. He’s had a number of big injuries but played well in shorter periods. He was key as United made the playoffs last season, scoring crucial goals and putting in some big performances along the way.
Sheffield United News: Berge deal obviously needed for financial reasons
This is just typical of Sheffield United a lot would say. Primed to win promotion, then placed under transfer embargo before selling on one of the best players in the Championship.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. In theory, this should allow the embargo to be lifted and also, it should allow Paul Heckingbottom to sign a replacement.
Losing Berge is a blow. But he’s always been open to moving and if we get our money back and add-ons, then it’s not the end of the world.
The big deal now will be signing a replacement. With just days to go in the window, and still under embargo, this needs to get done quickly if we are to replace him.
