Rio Ferdinand has hit back at Sheffield United defender Anel Ahmedhodzic and told him to be quiet.
The Bosnian defender took to social media earlier to suggest that the footage on TNT Sports was edited to show him bringing Jarrod Bowen down in the last minute.
The Blades defender appeared to wrestle Bowen to the floor but nothing was given and the game ended 2-2.
After the game, most pundits claimed that the decision was wrong and since then, former referees have also said it was the wrong call.

And after Ahmedhodzic spoke out on social media about the issue, Rio Ferdinand has now hit back at the United defender on his FIVE YouTube show.
“Have you seen the Sheffield United defender come out today? Me and Joe Cole done the game for TNT and he’s saying ‘oh it’s bias, towards West Ham’. I’m like mate, what you talking about? If I start to dissect your defending before anything, you’d be on the floor. I think it’s a foul. So if I start to go through his steps of his poor defending in that moment he should just be quiet. The situation is as it is, the situation isn’t bias is it? But you know, these men can’t take it,” Ferdinand said.
Both have a point
In a way, both Ferdinand and Ahmedhodzic have a bit of a point here.
From the Sheffield United defender’s stand point, he is simply suggesting Bowen also had hold of him, which he does have a point with in a way. However, to go on social media and suggest footage is edited is maybe a bit OTT.
With Ferdinand, he’s right to be able to have his say back at Anel but the way he delivers the lines here on assessing the United man’s defending comes across a touch arrogant.
Of course, Ferdinand was one of the best to ever do it and as a pundit is right to pick things out.
But really, this is just beef about nothing and in the end, we’d be seeing 5-6 penalties a game if the refs gave these decisions every time.
