Wolves are set to recall a number of loan players in January but as things stand, Sheffield United will be allowed to keep hold of in-form midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White.
That’s according to today’s edition of The Telegraph. They report how Wolves will indeed be bringing back Dion Sanderson from Birmingham City, while Cardiff winger Ryan Giles could also return. However, Gibbs-White is set to be given the chance to see out the season at Bramall Lane.

This is good news for Sheffield United and their manager, Paul Heckingbottom. With the January window now in full flow, there had been fears Gibbs-White’s form would see Bruno Lage call him back to Molineux. But for now, at least, it seems ‘MGW’ will be staying at Bramall Lane.
Morgan Gibbs-White Vital For Sheffield United
What a huge bonus this is for United. Gibbs-White has been nothing short of superb since signing in the summer and is on course to be the player of the season as things stand.
Although he’s out with a slight knock at the moment, there is no doubting his importance to this team. He was impressive enough under Slavisa Jokanovic. However, he seems to have upped his game even more under Paul Heckingbottom, playing slightly more centrally.
Of course, things can change, especially in these Covid times. But for now, it seems like United and Heckingbottom can plan for life with Gibbs-White in the mix.
