Sheffield United are ready to offer Kyle Walker a three-year contract to entice him away from Manchester City this summer.
Rumours are rife just a day into the window that Walker could decide to return to Bramall Lane. It comes after he admitted earlier on in the year how he’d love to play for the Blades once again.
And after reports from TalkSPORT this morning claimed the Blades very much keen on Walker, 90Min now goes one step further in discussing the contract the Blades might prepare.

Sheffield United ready contract offer for Kyle Walker
According to 90Min, United are ready to give Walker three years to bring him back from Manchester.
At 33, Walker could find it hard to be offered such terms elsewhere.

However, there is interest. 90Min claims West Ham and Aston Villa are monitoring him, while huge offers from Saudi Arabia could also come Walker’s way.
The Blades are unlikely to be able to offer anywhere near the sort of salary Walker currently has or can get elsewhere.
Further, City would need to be generous in allowing Walker to come back to The Lane either for nothing or for a minimal transfer fee.
Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom has been speaking this morning about the transfer window and conceded things will be tough, with an emphasis on frees and loans being vital.

Sheff U News View: Play to our strengths
We are never going to be able to match clubs in terms of wages. Walker is on £160k-a-week at City and any offers from Saudi are likely to be more than that.
Villa and West Ham, too, can offer big money after a number of seasons in the PL and richer owners.
However, the Blades are smart in offering that longer term here. Yes, it’s likely far less money but over the longer-term, it’s likely to be a decent enough package for Walker.
At 33, there won’t be too many longer deals on the table for him and if he is serious about returning to Bramall Lane, then Hecky will hope that sways things.
