Sheffield United could move for Barnsley star, Clarke Oduor, as Chris Wilder continues to assess his options before the start of the new season.
According to Football Insider, Oduor has caught the attention of the Blades management after an excellent campaign at Oakwell in which he finished with a big flourish.

Indeed, it was Oduor who scored the vital goal for the Reds against Brentford as they somehow managed to scrape their way to Championship safety in the final few games of the campaign.
But the Blades could prove a tempting move for the 21-year-old, who is capable of playing anywhere down the left-hand side and can also fill in midfield if needed. That, of course, would be a huge benefit to United given the fluent 3-5-2 formation Wilder employs.

Born in Kenya, Oduor is yet to appear for his nation but qualifies for England, too.
Low-risk, high-potential, this could be a shrewd investment – Our View
Given we have already splurged just shy of £20m on Aaron Ramsdale, we aren’t going to be going out making mega-money signings for the rest of the window.

Wilder confirmed after today’s game with Dundee United that we had ‘made our big signing’, so it suggests we will be looking more for squad enhancements from now on.
Oduour would certainly be a useful addition and someone who the club could develop over time. His ability to cover for Enda Stevens is also a bonus and you’d think he would relish the opportunity to move to the top-flight.
