Sheffield United are being linked with a big-money move for yet another name, with Florinel Coman the latest name mentioned.
According to a report from GSP, the Romanian is the subject of interest from the Blades. Indeed, the report claims that Chris Wilder’s men have submitted a ‘written offer’ for Coman which could see a deal done at the end of the season.

Coman is one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment. He’s been lauded by Romanian legend, Gheorghe Hagi, with the World Cup 94 star comparing Coman to Kylian Mbappe.
The 21-year-old forward – who plays wide in the main – has been in superb form for FCSB this season. He’s already knocked in 13 goals this term, contributing a further nine assists in the process across all competitions.

Coman scored 11 times last season, too. Furthermore, that form has translated into a full call-up the international squad. He’s made three appearances since making his debut, impressing once more.
With United spending big in January, no more big-money buys are expected as yet. However, the summer will soon be here and the Blades might well just firm up this reported interest if they do indeed qualify for Europe.
Could this be yet another signing out of nowhere?
Few will admit that they saw the club going out and making the sort of signings the Blades did in January. The addition of Sander Berge, mixed with the loan signings of Panos Retsos and Richairo Zivkovic, signalled a change of tact for United.

No longer simply dipping into the British market, the Blades are now a force across the European game. Their form in the Premier League has led them to that stature.
It would be no surprise, then, to see a player like Coman come into the club. Chris Wilder admitted earlier in the week he had watched his new signings for a considerable length of time.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be the biggest of shocks to see the Blades make their move for Florinel Coman during the summer.
