Sheffield United are said to be among the clubs to have made enquiries for Reims midfielder, Marshall Munetsi, according to French reports.
French publication RMC (via GetFrenchFootballNews) has claimed United, along with West Brom and Derby, are interested in signing the Zimbabwean.
Munetsi, 24, has been a regular in Ligue 1 this season, making 16 appearances for Reims. Predominantly a defensive midfielder, Munetsi can also step into a central defensive role if needed.
However, any move to the Blades looks unlikely at this stage. Chris Wilder has said he doesn’t expect any incomings, with the deadline set to pass tomorrow.

United have failed to lany any of their reported targets this month. Jesse Lingard signed for West Ham, while Ben Davies of Preston is set for a surprise move to Liverpool.
Sheffield United want Marshall Munetsi – Who is the Zimbabwean midfielder?
Munetsi is a full Zimbabwe international with 21 caps for his country.
He previously played for Orlando Pirates, before sealing a move to French side Reims, where he has gone on to play 39 times. (Transfermarkt)
While it’s unlikely the Blades will land Munetsi this window, it is another indication of United casting their scouting net a bit wider again.
