Sheffield United face an uphill task to land Antonee Robinson now, it would see, with the Sun claiming Fulham are prepared to offer the defender £50k-a-week.

Chris Wilder will be bitterly disappointed to see this one potentially slip away because of money. United’s bid was said to be around £2m, which would have represented a huge bargain buy for the club.
Robinson is leaving Wigan following their relegation. His form has been excellent despite the Latics dropping into League One, with United, Aston Villa, and Fulham all said to be keen.

While it’s not the end of the world should Robinson slip the net, you can’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment if we do fail to land him.
More so, because he fits the mould and budget of United so well. Young, athletic, good enough to play if needed, and with potential resale value. It really would be a shame if he opts for the biggest contract rather than the opportunity of playing at Bramall Lane.
