Chelsea are reportedly keen on bringing Sheffield United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, to Stamford Bridge next season.
The Blues have been struggling in between the sticks this term with Kepa Arrizabalaga coming under increasing pressure. A number of mistakes from the Spaniard have left some at the club questioning his long-term suitability for the number one spot.

And now, according to a report from the Sun, Chelsea are said to be keen on beating Sheffield United to the punch to land Dean Henderson for next season.
Any move for the Manchester United loanee would be a loan deal. It is thought that the Red Devils aren’t quite prepared to sell Henderson as yet but are also sticking with David De Gea as their number one for now.

Henderson, of course, has already made it clear he doesn’t want to go and sit on the bench at Old Trafford.

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has put his trust in a host of young talent this term. The Blues remain on course for Champions League spot if all goes well.
That, then, may well be enough to tempt Henderson into making the move to London, especially if Sheffield United don’t land a European spot.
Blades face a tough fight to keep Henderson
There’s no kidding ourselves when it comes to Dean Henderson. If Sheffield United want to keep him then all the stars are going to have to align.
He’s well out of our price range in reality if United were to seek a permanent deal. Furthermore, clubs like Chelsea can offer massive wages. This is obviously something officials at Bramall Lane cannot do just yet.
However, Henderson is loving life with the Blades. He kept his tenth clean sheet of the season yesterday as United saw off Norwich City.
A fantastic late save caught the eye. It is widely expected that Henderson will now get an England call. With the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, and Fikayo Tomori involved with the Three Lions, they might just be getting into Henderson’s ear.
