Arsenal are still interested in signing Sheffield United midfielder, Sander Berge, according to Norwegian outlet, VG.
The big midfielder has been the standout performer for United this season despite the dismal form of the squad as a whole. After initially struggling, he is now looking at a bargain at the £22m United paid for him.
However, VG claims that Arsenal were also interested in Berge at the time back in January and that their interest still remains strong.
It is believed the Gunners are keeping a close eye on both Berge and United’s situation, with a deal more likely to be done should the Blades be relegated back to the Championship.

Losing Berge has been one of the big discussion points among United fans in the midst of the poor start.
Inevitable but a long way to go yet
This is always going to happen. United have some good players and now we are struggling, clubs will be circling like vultures looking to pick up our best talent.
Berge is right in that category. The good thing is, he seems to love it at Bramall Lane and is now firmly settled into the XI.
There is definitely move to come from Berge, too. Ultimately, he is going to be crucial if we are to stay up. If we do indeed go down, then few would blame him if he did wish to seal a move back to the PL.
