Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu was given the nod in midfield for Sheffield United yesterday and delivered a fine performance against Liverpool.
The Blues starlet was given the task of stepping in for Oliver Norwood for the Blades and he did not disappoint his manager Chris Wilder with a mature and composed performance.

Ampadu did the job that Norwood has done so well for years for United but added a bit more pace, height, and strength to the role.
Onlooking Chelsea fans, then, were loving what they saw from Ampadu. A number of Blues supporters took to Twitter to have their say on the Welshman’s performance.
It seems, then, that some Chelsea fans don’t see a need for the signing of Declan Rice when Ampadu is on the books.
