Sheffield United lost to Man City today as local lad Kyle Walker scored the only goal of the game at Bramall Lane.
Walker rifled in from distance to give City all three points in a wet and windy day in the Steel City.
For United, it was another game without a goal or point for us and, in fairness, we didn’t look like scoring barring a chance from inside the box which fell to John Lundstram late on in the second period.

One of the most frustrating aspects of the game from a United perspective was the lack of quality and good decision making from wide areas. The Blades seemed to get in behind time and again down the right especially but hesitated in putting the ball in the box numerous times.

It was an extremely tiresome watch at times from that point of view and was something a number of Blades fans wanted to have their say about on Twitter following the game.
Here, then, is a look at just how frustrated Sheffield United fans were with the crossing and delivery aspect of the performance against City today.
Not good enough

Hardest thing to watch is that we don’t create, we don’t shoot and we don’t cross. We get in a good position then we come backwards. It’s really poor

I’m getting pretty sick of watching us pass it around the corner flag for such large periods. Noone wants to stick a cross and in noone ever wants to go direct into the box other than Sander on the odd occasion. Commentary is spot on in saying we are SO frustrating to watch.

Poor. No creativity and a massive lack of quality in final 3rd with Man City hardly having to work for it. The players look de-motivated and it took 65 minutes to get a decent ball into the box.

Frustrating to watch, don’t understand why we seem so reluctant to put a cross into the box. Also Norwood needs to start, literally no creativity in the midfield when he doesn’t play.

Next time try and put the ball in the box!!
