The Sheffield Star has claimed last night that John Lundstram could be sold by the Blades in January, with the midfielder still yet to sign a new deal.
It is believed Chris Wilder is now prepared to let the former Oxford man go in January, with little sign as yet of the midfielder being willing to sign his new deal.

The terms of the contract offered are said to have been increased, too. However, Lundstram and his agent have apparently still rejected the deal, meaning the Blades man will now probably leave in January.
Rangers, Burnley, and Crystal Palace are all said to be interested in the United number 7, although that was from the summer and no bids actually arrived.

Blades fans, then, have been having their say about the news on social media, with Twitter awash with comments from Unitedites about what might be best for the club to do here.
As usual with Lundstram, it seems opinion is split. Here’s a look at what some have had to say.
Got to do everything we can (within reason) to keep him. Vital to our team and system.

I don’t think he’ll get a prem club.

It happens in football unfortunately, for me know don’t pick him, go with our future Osborn/fleck Norwood berge

Whether you like him or not, he’ll be hard to replace.

Shame to lose out on him tbh

He clearly thinks he is bigger/better than he is. No player is bigger than the club. His attitude shows he doesn’t want to be here so drop him, keep him away from the rest of the squad and let him sit at home until we sell in January or release in June.

Delighted – does the bare minimum defensively when we need everyone at full tilt. Doubt another Premier League team would want him tbh.
