Neil Warnock has been spotted in the Sheffield United changing room admitting that Iliman Ndiaye is the player who’s caught his eye at the moment.
Warnock was back at Bramall Lane a few weeks ago and the club has released a snippet from the upcoming Behind the Blades episode which will showcase Warnock’s return. Of course, Warnock has had quite the journey since leaving the Blades, so it will be nice to United fans to see how he takes in being back at his old stomping ground.
And while the full episode is due to hit YouTube tonight, it was interesting in the short clip released on Twitter to see Warnock go over and pick up Iliman Ndiaye’s shirt before saying ‘he’s the one isn’t he’.
“I like him. I’ll just pick that up cos he is a good player him. I like him. He’s the one isn’t he,” Warnock says before the BBC and SUTV’s Paul Walker can heard agreeing and noting how Ndiaye has improved his strength this season.

Ndiaye has scored four goals already this season and will be hoping to make it five or more this weekend against Rotherham United.
Our View: Warnock Among Many Impressed By Ndiaye
It’s no surprise to see Warnock going straight to Iliman Ndiaye’s shirt. The Senegalese star has been hitting the headlines for all the right reasons and alongside Sander Berge, has been instrumental for United this term.
Carl Asaba called him ‘unplayable‘ on the Sheffield United Heaven podcast and it’s hard to disagree with that statement really.
This Sheffield United side is in a good place to do well and challenge this season. And while ever Ndiaye is fit and firing, the chances of promotion are high.
