As if things aren’t already difficult enough for the Blades at the moment, tonight’s opponents, Manchester United, have been given a huge attacking boost.

In squad that already boasts the attacking talents of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Mason Greenwood, the Red Devils will welcome back another superstar tonight in the form of Anthony Martial.

Indeed, respected Red Devils website, United in Focus, believe Martial will start the fixture at Bramall Lane, with the Manchester outfit lining up in a 4-4-2 diamond formation.

Of course, that brings back nightmares of the summer for the Blades defence, who witness Martial net a hat-trick at Old Trafford after the first lockdown ended.

It goes without saying, then, that the Blades defence will need to be on their toes and then a bit more during tonight’s crucial clash.

The toughest of tests

Just what we needed, eh? But it is what it is and at Premier League level, you are going to come up against these challenges.

Tonight is a free hit for United and we should play without fear and look to take the game to the Red Devils as we did last season at The Lane.

Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and David De Gea all have an error in them and if we can get the ball in and around them and in behind for the likes of Brewster and Mousset (if he plays), then we might just get some joy.

Keeping Martial and co out, mind, is another matter entirely!
