Aaron Ramsdale finally completed a long-winded and drawn out move to Arsenal yesterday, as the Gunners finally paid up for the England stopper.
United are said to have pocketed around £24m up front in the deal for Ramsdale, with a further £6m coming in add-ons down the line. It is, in fairness, a huge move for Ramsdale and one he simply couldn’t turn down.
He’ll now challenge Bernd Leno for the number one spot, with Mikel Arteta said to have full faith in his new man over the long-term.
Naturally, Ramsdale was delighted with the move. And after posting his goodbyes to United on Instagram, he soon took to the same platform to set his stall out at his new club.
