Sheffield United are renowned for producing top young players and Will Osula is one of the latest off the production line.
The young striker made his debut last season and has scored in pre-season this time around too. And according to The Sheffield Star, both Liverpool and Newcastle United are keeping an eye on the youngster.
Osula is expected to have an impact at Bramall Lane this season alongside fellow young forward, Daniel Jebbison. With Oli McBurnie still struggling to be fit for the opening games of the season, there is a chance one of Osula or Jebbison gets the nod on the bench.
The 18-year-old Osula has represented Denmark at youth team level and is among a number of young Sheffield United players catching the eye around Shirecliffe. Others, such as Sydie Peck, Oliver Arblaster, and Nickseon Gomis, have all been involved.

Liverpool and Newcastle’s interest in Osula will come as no surprise. The Reds have snatched some of the very best talent from the Championship in recent years, while Newcastle are looking to build their own legacy under the new ownership.
Liverpool have also taken a look at Jebbison in the past, too, with their Merseyside rivals Everton also said to be keen.
Our View: Osula Could Benefit From League One Loan Like Jebbo
It will be interesting to see how Paul Heckingbottom views Will Osula this season. Does he see him as perhaps being ahead of Jebbison, or will his impressive spell with Burton and goals in pre-season give him the edge?
For Heckingbottom, it’s a nice problem to have really. Both are talented young players with plenty to offer the squad and it won’t surprise the Blades boss to learn of PL interest.
In an ideal world, Jebbison does well off the bench this season, allowing Osula to get experience out on loan.
