Sheffield United are facing a battle from some of the Premier League’s biggest teams to keep hold of one of their young players.
The Blades have become a breeding ground in recent years for top young players and a number have gone on to impress in the game at different levels.
Iliman Ndiaye got a big money move to Marseille in the summer, while Daniel Jebbison, Will Osula and Oliver Arblaster have all impressed at different levels in recent times.

Liverpool and Manchester United keen on Blades starlet Luke Faxon
According to the Daily Mail, the Blades now face a fight to keep hold of another youngster, Luke Faxon, amid interest from the likes of Manchester United, Man City, and Liverpool.
According to the report, the Blades have offered new terms to Faxon. However, there is interest from Premier League giants United, City and Liverpool.
The teenager has been a regular for the development squads and played in last night’s 1-0 defeat to Barnsley for the 21s.
Faxon is among a number of youngsters the Blades want to keep. The club recently landed new deals with Femi Seriki, Jili Buyabu, and Antwoine Hackford before sending the trio out on loan.
Sheffield United academy continuing to flourish
The Blades academy really is one of the shining lights about the entire club and it continues to show how good it is with interest in players like Faxon.
United have produced some top players in recent times and with interest from clubs like Liverpool and Man United, it looks like Faxon might be another one off the production line.
Clearly, there is something good going on at Shirecliffe and a huge amount of credit needs to be given to the coaching staff and everyone else working there.
Whether or not Faxon will pen new terms remains to be seen. But if not, as long as United get some sort of sell-on or financial benefit from the deal, then you can’t really blame the player for moving on.
