Bournemouth, Leicester City and Norwich City are all interested in signing current Sheffield United loanee Dean Henderson, according to the Sun On Sunday (17/03, page 57).
Henderson has greatly impressed at Bramall Lane this season since arriving on loan from Manchester United. The goalkeeper gave another commanding performance at the weekend as the Blades won 1-0 at Leeds United.
That was United’s seventh successive Championship clean sheet and sixth win during that time. Chris Wilder’s men also leapfrogged Leeds into the automatic promotion spots.
However, they will need to hold onto that position if they are to retain Henderson next term. The Premier League is seemingly beckoning for the 21-year-old.
Both Bournemouth and Leicester are keen. Meanwhile, Norwich – who currently lead the division – want Henderson if they are promoted to the top flight.
United must win the race
MORE UNITED STORIES

It appears that Man United are insistent that Henderson needs to be playing Premier League football in 2019/20. That is no surprise considering his rapid rise.
Yet the Red Devils are also keen that Henderson gets first team football. The Foxes already have Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Ward and Eldin Jakupovic on their books. Artur Boruc is out of contract at the Vitality Stadium this summer and could leave, but the Cherries also have Asmir Begovic.
Therefore Henderson getting regular game time at each is doubtful. Norwich, meanwhile, currently have Tim Krul between the sticks but may view the England Under-21 international as an improvement.
Of course United should be the favourites. However, they will need to make sure they are promoted. Missing out on the big time means also missing out on Henderson.
It would be likely that the young ‘keeper would be interested in a return to South Yorkshire, though. Despite being a loanee, Henderson has fully embraced the club and Wilder’s style.
