Sheffield United could be up against Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa this summer when it comes to more than one reported transfer target.
The former Championship rivals are set to be in the market for similar players it seems. It seems unlikely that Leeds will splash the cash like Aston Villa did, which means they could very much follow the mould of the Blades over the summer.

And evidence of that seems to be coming to light in recent days, with Leeds being linked with both John Swift – who is said to be close to agreeing terms with the Blades – and Eberechi Eze, who was a target back in January at Bramall Lane. Report from the Sun yesterday claimed Eze is now a top target for Bielsa’s men.
Furthermore, Aston Villa are now also said to be monitoring Swift. The Villans could lose Jack Grealish and it has been suggested that Dean Smith could target the Reading midfielder as a potential replacement for their star man.

It seems, then, that once again, things aren’t going to be straight forward for Wilder in the transfer market. He will, of course, be hoping his early move for Swift will pay dividends, with the player said to be keen on working with the Blades boss.
This could be the story of the summer, Leeds will be a big draw now they are back – Our View
It’s no surprise to see Leeds being linked with a raft of players already. We aren’t even at the finish line of the Premier League season and already they’ve been mentioned with some huge names, including Edinson Cavani.
So as the summer progresses, it’s likely both the Blades and Leeds will go for similar players. Eze and Swift are both proven Championship players who’ll be itching to step up to the Premier League.
It could well be a case of who offers the best project, money, and vision as a club. Hopefully, for United, our first season back has shown potential signings we are well on our way to being successful,
