Chris Wilder has said he is looking forward to the summer rebuild at Sheffield United and believes players are already looking at coming to Bramall Lane.
The Blades boss knows that the club will likely be in the Championship next season meaning funds will be a touch tighter than they’d have been if United stayed up.
Of course, the season isn’t over and Wilder will fight tooth and nail to keep the Blades in the top flight.
But regardless of the division, Wilder believes players are wanting to sign for Sheffield United.
Indeed, speaking to the Sheffield Star, Wilder has even suggested players are chatting to some of his senior pros already about making the move.

Speaking about the summer, Wilder was honest and open and admitted that midfielder Tom Davies has even been coming to him with suggestions.
“The main window is in the summer. We’ve got a lot of boys out of contract and I’m super confident that we can rebuild. I still think this is a fabulous place to come and play football. Even now, I’m getting people talking to Tom Davies and he’s saying: ‘He’s available and he’s available’,” Wilder said.
“This is a club that is still fighting and is still very attractive to come and play for. We get brilliant support at home and away and have had that right through my time here. Plus the way we coach and manage as well is attractive to players, whether they’re loan players or permanent.”
Davies finally got on the pitch against Aston Villa at the weekend after suffering a miserable time with injury since arriving from Everton in the summer.
With results being so poor, Davies will likely get his chance to start in the midfield in the coming games.
And if he can bring a few decent players with him for next season as well, then that’s simply an added bonus.
